Before you start.

What if people don’t add anything?
Most of them won’t, the first time you ask — that’s normal, and it’s the part we take off you. We send the reminders, spaced out, and only to the people who haven’t added anything yet. You can see who has contributed and who hasn’t the whole way through, so you’re never the one texting your uncle for the third time.
Do the people I invite need an account or an app?
No. They tap the link, add a photo or type a few sentences, and they’re done. No sign-up, no password, nothing to download. It’s about ninety seconds on a phone.
How long should I give people?
Two weeks for a family, three for a workplace. Send the link the day you decide rather than the week of the event — the people who take longest are usually the ones holding the oldest photographs.
What if the photos aren’t good quality?
Phone photos are what this is built for. Our team composes the piece by hand, and a soft picture from 2009 is usually worth more to it than a sharp one from last week. If something genuinely can’t be printed at the size you’ve chosen, we tell you before it goes to print.
Can I see it before it prints?
Yes. Nothing anyone submits appears in the piece until you’ve approved it, and you see the composed artwork before it goes to print.
Is it private?
Yes. The Living Memory opens only by scanning that particular print, and you control who sees it. Invite links are not indexed and stop working when you close the piece.
What if it doesn’t arrive in time?
Tell us the date it has to be there and we work back from it. Pieces ship within five business days of the artwork being approved, and if we can’t make your date we say so before you pay.
