Terms
The short version of what you are agreeing to when you order a piece.
What we make
A piece composed by hand from the photographs, notes and recordings added to it, printed at the size you chose. You see and approve the artwork before anything is printed. What we print is what you approved.
Your photographs stay yours
You keep every right you had in what you upload. You give us permission to store it, compose it into the piece, print it, and show it in the Living Memory attached to that print — and nothing else. We do not use it in advertising or show it to anyone else without asking you first, in writing, for that specific thing.
What you are confirming
That you have the right to share what you upload, and that the people you invite understand their contributions will appear in a piece someone else receives. We cannot verify either, so we rely on you.
Contributions from other people
Contributors keep their rights in what they add, and grant the same permission for the same single purpose. As the buyer you approve what goes in. If a contributor asks us to remove something they added, we will.
Made to order
Each piece exists for one set of photographs and one recipient, so it cannot be resold and we do not take returns on a piece that arrived as approved. If it arrives damaged, or is not what you approved, we remake it — see shipping and returns.
